MS Lev Tolstoy: Moscow - St. Petersburg

Day 1 Arrival in Moscow
Welcome to the brilliant Russian capital - Moscow! Upon arrival your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to the river port to board the MS Lev Tolstoy. In the evening you enjoy Welcome Dinner on board and have the rest of the day free.

Day 2 Moscow City Tour
Today you have a guided city around the most famous Moscow attractions. You stroll around Red Square enjoying great views of the St. Basil's Cathedral, go inside GUM and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (if time and availability permit), and visit the territory of the Novodevichy Convent. Lunch in the city center is included. After the tour you return on-board. The rest of the day is free.

Day 3 Tour of the Kremlin & Visit to the Tretyakov Gallery
Today you go on a guided tour of the Kremlin. During the tour you go inside its terrirory and explore the famous Square of Four Cathedrals, where you visit one of its gorgeous 15th-century cathedrals. Then your guide takes you to the Tretyakov Gallery you spend several amazing hours viewing the gems of its collection. After the tour you return on board and your cruise starts.

Day 4 Stop in Uglich
Today you make a stop in Uglich and visit the Church of St. Dimitry-on-Blood, the Kremlin territory and the Transfiguration Cathedral. After the tour you return to your ship.

Day 5 Stop in Yaroslavl & Rostov the Great
Today you have a bus city tour of Yaroslavl with visits to the Saviour-Transfiguration monastery, the church of St. Nicolas the Wonder-Worker and the territory of Possad. Later you are transferred to Rostov the Great to enjoy a panoramic bus city tour, that includes visits to the Kremlin territory and the Assumption Cathedral. After the tour you return to your ship.

Day 6 Stop in Goritsy
This day you enjoy a guided walking Goritsy tour and visit its historic Resurrection convent, a local school and a local house. After the tour you return to your ship.

Day 7 Stop at Kizhi
Today you walk through the island of Kizhi and see its famous Pogost with the massive Transfiguration Church built without a single nail, superb windmills and ancient Russian wooden houses, and visit a beautiful Intercession Church. After the tour you return on board.

Day 8 Stop in Mandrogi
Today you make a stop in Mandrogi, where you explore original wooden houses, traditional Russian bakeries, and crafts exhibitions and have some free time to buy authentic Russian souvenirs. Later you enjoy a traditional Russian picnic ashore with shashlik (meat kebab) made on the grill. After the tour you return on board.

Day 9 St. Petersburg City Tour & Visit to the Hermitage
Today you arrive in St. Petersburg. During your panoramic city tour you see Palace Square, Nevsky prospect, Isaac's Cathedral, Cathedral of Savior on the Spilt Blood, and visit the Peter and Paul fortress. After lunch in the city center your guide takes you to the Hermitage, where shows you the best rooms and halls of this world-renowned museum. After the tour you return on board.

Day 10 Trip to Pushkin
Today you travel to Pushkin to visit its brilliant Catherine's Palace and take a walk around its lavish parks and gardens. Lunch in the local restaurant is included. After the tour you return on board.

Day 11 Trip to Peterhof
Today you travel to the outskirts of St. Petersburg to explore the former summer residence of Russian tsars and the gem of palace architecture - Peterhof. During the tour you visit the magnificent Grand Palace and take a walk in the splendid Lower Park exploring the Grand Cascade with the famous Samson Fountain. After the tour you return on board.

Day 12 Departure from St. Petersburg
After breakfast your driver transfers you to the airport for your flight back home. We wish you a safe flight and hope to work on your future trips!

  • One lunch in the city center in Moscow and two lunches in St. Petersburg;
  • Three meals daily in the ship's restaurants with the same menu for all passengers irrespective of cabin category;

The standard triple cabins are equipped with a large picture window to let the morning light in, a closet, and a vanity table. These rooms, set on the main deck, contain an extra bunk bed for the extra passenger, but a bit more space than in a twin.

The standard twin cabin features a large picture window to let in the morning light, a closet, and a makeup table. Two twin beds share a small table between. Bathrooms and showers are separate. The medical cabin is on this deck.

Middle Deck Twin

The standard twin cabin features a large picture window to let in the morning light, a closet, and a makeup table. Two twin beds share a small table between. Bathrooms and showers are separate. Situated on the same deck as the observation lounge.

Single cabin

Single cabins are great for solitary travelers. With a large, opening scenic window, the accommodation is equipped with private facilities that provide even a hair dryer. Individual room thermostat, wardrobe, and radio can be found in each single.

Junior Suite

A step up from the standard cabin, the Junior Suite enjoys two picture windows, a sitting area with a coffee table, a makeup table, a television, and two twin beds that can be moved together. All suites are situated on the popular Boat Deck. Number of guests: 2

Suite

A step up from the Junior Suite, Suites are spacious accommodations with three picture windows, a dayroom with a television, sofa, armchairs, and a coffee table. The bedroom is separate, and enjoys a double bed and vanity. On the Boat Deck.
